Back in the 60s I attended CalState LA. Your grandmother gave a speech in the football stadium in front of several thousand students. I remember that there were protests against letting her speak. I'll never forget her saying that Americans were so afraid of Communism that they didn't see threats from other groups. Now, over 50 years later, I find myself in Israel being cared for by several former Russians. How much we laugh about how each of us were taught to fear and hate each other and I tell them about your grandmother's speech.
