Nora Ephron's passing has been like losing a personal friend.

Many thanks to Abigail Pogrbin for writing this piece on Nora. It extends the pleasurable time of knowing Nora just a few moments further for all of us. I'll risk speaking for at least some by say, "We like that."

I love that Nora's mother said if use stayed home from school on Jewish holidays, then what was she going to do. Good question. Good Jewish statement/question.

And of lesser importance, but still very, very important, one is immensely grateful for all the inside info on New York. Always appreciated for trips East by those of us who live West.
