Love the blog - I've been an active NOW member for some time and would like to send kudos to you all for remembering its birth. A little concerned though ... w/ the recent shift in the Supreme Court ... the chipping away of Roe ... the sexually concervative backlash against breakthroughs for women, eg - the vaccine that could save thousands from cervical cancer ... among others -- Where is NOW?
In fact, I think "feminism" has lost its appeal, at least to the masses. I'm confident that I'll keep up the fight despite popular opinion, but I'm worried about my younger counterparts.
Also, I adored the post regarding the "Old Spinster" statistics (those over 40 will never marry). Being single and turning 40 next year, it warmed my heart.
