Hela Schupper

Hela Schupper

The only one of her family and fellow resistance fighters to survive the Holocaust, Hela Schupper felt that she only live in Palestine, where she could tell her story "of what happened to us… of the murder of millions, of life in the ghettos, of the unequal, impossible and heroic struggle against the Nazi beast," while also helping to "build Erez Israel."
