Liora Malka Yellin is a dance and theater studies scholar at Tel Aviv University. She serves as the head of the Israeli Society for Dance Research. Her research concentrates on early Israeli theatrical dance, from its inception in the 1920s up to the late 1950s. Currently she is writing a book on Gertrud Kraus, her life and work both in Europe and in Israel.
