Helen Rehr

Helen Rehr received her B.A. from Hunter College and her D.S.W. from the Columbia University School of Social Work. She is professor of community medicine emerita and a consultant to the Department of Social Work Services and the Division of Social Work at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Medical Center. Rehr is author, coauthor, and editor of more than one hundred studies, reports, monographs, articles, chapters, and books; recently she coauthored Social Work Issues in Health Care. Among her awards are an honorary doctorate from Hunter College and election as fellow to the New York Academy of Medicine.
