Shelley Winters was one of my all time favorite actresses. I first saw her in "A Patch Of Blue" when I was a senior in high school. Being a young kid at the time, this kind of movie wasn't my typical choice, but my parents watched it, and we watched it with them. I was stunned by the realism of both the subject matter, and the actors' ability to carry it across.
Then I found out she did several westerns, and that really made me like her even more.
