Indeed, Rav Kook’s views on women is a very complicated issue. It is not a strong point of Rav Kook, particularly – the question of women voting.
Just bear in mind that every issue exists in the perspective of its particular era. Rav Kook made the greatest advances of the Jewish people, Judaism, and the State of Israel. And yes, he is not all perfect.
Thus the answer should be that even the Sun can have spots.
Those who concentrate on "Sunspots" are mostly people who can do nothing, can advance nothing. Therefore their only chance to stand out is to discover the shortcomings of other great people.
It should be noted what the Rav Kooks school’s legacy demonstrates, - i.e. by looking at his students and his movement, and today’s religious Zionism – that women’s’ participation in the life of this movement is huge. Thus in reality everything is fine with the participation of women in life of Rav Kook’s followers.
Also, everything is fine in the party of Religious Zionists, of students of Rav Kook, where women are widely represented. Therefore the scrutiny of Rav Kook’s writing about women is completely inadequate regarding the followers of Rav Kook and the life in which it was implemented. Thus such articles are simply meaningless.
You can still find a lot of things that Rav Kook did which is not seen as contemporary today. It doesn’t matter. They could also cite Maimonides on women issues saying "this is Judaism!" or the Torah, or Tanakh, what not was said about women? It is important what Judaism is in reality, not what it was in that theory. And even more so it is important regarding the followers of Rav Kook – how his teaching is implemented in reality, and not how it was in theory.

Действительно, взгляды рава Кука по вопросу женщин - это вопрос очень сложный, это совсем не является сильной стороной рава Кука, и в частности - вопрос о голосовании женщин.
Просто нужно учесть, что всякая вещь существует в перспективе соответствующей эпохи,
и поэтому ответ надо дать такой, что на Солнце тоже бывают пятна. Рав Кук сделал величайшее продвижение еврейского народа, иудаизма и Государства Израиль. Да, он не во всем совершенен.
Тот, кто концентрируется на пятнах на Солнце, это в основном люди, которые сами ничего сделать не могут, сами продвинуть не могут. И поэтому их единственный шанс выделиться - это видеть недостатки у других, великих.
Надо отметить, что школа рава Кука показывает, - т.е. можно посмотреть по его ученикам и по его движению, по нынешнему религиозному сионизму, - что участие женщин в жизни этой группы огромное.
