Hi. I am a Seattle researcher and author working on a history of the Seattle antiwar movement of the late 1960s, including the Seattle 7 Federal conspiracy trial. Seattle's history as a strong labor and IWW town, home of the Seattle general strike, etc., is an important part of our history. I understand that Emma Goldman spoke in Seattle at some point before or during World War I. I am looking for the specifics of that visit. Any suggestions? By the way I read several books by Emma in the early 1970s, and am now enjoying Vivian Gornick's wonderful "Emma Goldman." Thanks! Kit Bakke kitbakke@comcast.net www.facebook.com/kitbakkeautho...
