As a result of Ancestry . com, I have met with a woman of 49, adopted in Miami, ( but apparently having a birth mother from NY). She appears to be my niece, and will 2 second cousins ( my cousins) next week. She is searching for her birth Mother and just wants to tell her that she is OK and has a good life, and had good adoptive parents. She was adopted by a Jewish family. Is there any way I can help her by directing her , advising her, etc. as to how to get the information from the original birth certificate in Miami. She said she is not getting anywhere, and her real breakthrough was on Ancestry ( which I hope is all correct.). My E-mail is above. My home phone is 515- 484 1134. I would like to assist her.
