Summer Institute 2006
1st Jewish Women's Archive National Summer Institute
The Jewish Women's Archive (JWA) held its first National Summer Institute for Educators on July 9–12, 2006 in Brookline, MA. The event was funded with a generous grant from The Dorot Foundation.
The Institute brought together eighteen dynamic, creative Jewish educators from a variety of settings around the country for a unique experience of collaborative learning with other educators, historians, and artists. Over the course of three days, they explored new ways to bring the history of American Jewish women into their classrooms and programs.
