In the Footsteps of Regina Jonas
Produced by JWA, this moving, short documentary about the first woman rabbi, Regina Jonas, who was ordained in 1935 and perished in the Holocaust, tells her story through a 2014 trip of pioneering women rabbis to Eastern Europe. They honor and memorialize Jonas by following in her footsteps, from the Berlin streets where she lived, to Terezin, where she was deported before being sent to Auschwitz.
