Rules and Regulations of the Philadelphia Orphan Society, Part 3 of 4

Part 3 of 4: In 1815, Rebecca Gratz helped found the Philadelphia Orphan Society, a private non-sectarian organization that sheltered and educated poor orphaned children until they were old enough to be apprenticed to families. This pamphlet explains the rules of the society and asylum.
