Part 2: This pamphlet shows some of what suffragists such as Weil had to struggle against. Mixing household advice with anti-suffrage arguments, those opposed to women's suffrage attempted to convince ordinary women that the right to vote was unnecessary, and that far from improving the social and political system, it would actually have a negative impact on women's everyday life.
