Sheri Rosenblum is Director of Operations, Development, and Programs at the Jewish Partisan Educational Foundation (JPEF), where she oversees educational initiatives, strategic partnerships, and the development of Holocaust education resources. A specialist in Jewish resistance during the Holocaust, she has conducted extensive research on the Jewish partisans. She has authored and co-authored numerous educational curricula and scholarly resources on the subject.
Rosenblum studied Judaic Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she wrote her undergraduate thesis, “Moral Dilemmas of the Judenrat,” under the direction of Holocaust scholars Dr. Arnold Band and Dr. Amos Funkenstein. Her Holocaust studies were further informed by Shalmi Balmor, the founding director of Yad Vashem’s Department of Education, whose mentorship provided her with access to archival materials in Israel. She later earned an M.A. in Jewish Communal Service from Brandeis University.
Since joining JPEF in 2011, Rosenblum has worked closely with Jewish partisan families and survivors to preserve and disseminate their histories. She is the co-creator of Foundations of Resistance and author of JPEF’s Women in the Partisans and Living and Surviving curricula. Her work focuses on Jewish armed resistance, survivor testimony, and Holocaust memory and education.
