Naomi Graetz

Naomi Graetz teaches English at Ben Gurion University of the Negev and has written many articles about women and metaphor in the Bible and Midrash from a feminist perspective. She is the author of Silence is Deadly: Judaism Confronts Wifebeating, S/He Created Them: Feminist Retellings of Biblical Stories, a mystery novel, The Rabbi’s Wife Plays at Murder, and Unlocking the Garden: A Feminist Jewish Look at the Bible, Midrash and God.
