Ariel Evans
Dr. Ariel Evans is an art historian who specializes in art and photography after 1945, particularly its intersections with the politics of gender, race, and sexuality in the United States. Her research has been supported by the American Council of Learned Societies, Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, among others. She is founding editor of the magazine Pastelegram, and has written for publications including Miranda, photographies, exposure, The Brooklyn Rail, caa.reviews, and Art in America.
