Sandra Alfers

Sandra Alfers is an assistant professor of German at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. She taught at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire before completing her dissertation on German poetry from the Theresienstadt ghetto in 2003. Her research interests focus on twentieth-century German culture and literature in general. Her article “Vergessene Verse: Untersuchungen zur deutschsprachigen Lyrik in Theresienstadt” appeared in the Czech journal Theresienstädter Studien und Dokumente.
