Exhibition Credits

In 2001 and 2002, thirty Seattle Jewish women born in the early decades of the twentieth century opened their life stories and their homes to two oral historians and a photographer, and through them, to each of us. The result is this exhibition-bringing images and insights of women who lived through the profound changes of the twentieth century into our own worlds.

Weaving Women’s Words: Seattle Stories, was a collaborative project of the Jewish Women’s Archive and the Museum of History & Industry.
