Elana Moscovitch

Elana Moscovitch

Elana Moscovitch is a teacher, social worker, and guidance counselor working at a feminist girls’ school in Toronto. She is the mother of an eight-year-old daughter who has the Hebrew name Ma’ayan after her grandmother Zichrona L’bracha. The second time she lived in Jerusalem in seventh grade, she became best friends with Judith Rosenbaum, Executive Director of the Jewish Women’s Archive in Boston. Both of their families were on sabbatical that year and got to know each other. She and Judith were next door neighbors and attended the same Misorati Junior High School in French Hill. It is through following Judith’s posts and personal blog online that Elana discovered this avenue for publishing.
