I picked up some old pinback organizing buttons at a Waco Texas antique mall and one of them was a small blue button saying "Join Women's American ORT". I had no clue about this part of Jewish History. Thank you for the documentation! I will write a note on this find in the Texas Jewish Historical Society newsletter and see if I can find out more about the Texas connection.
