Soon her novel _Zelenyi shater_ will be translated into English as _Imago_. This work deals with late-Soviet dissidents and, like most of Ulitskaia's other works, deals with the role of Jews in Soviet society. On a related note, the author of this encyclopedia entry, Dr. Jenne Powers, has written an interesting PhD dissertation contextualizing Ulitskaia as an author interested in examining Soviet history.
