I knew the entire family as a young child growing up in Cejwin Camps. Syd was my dance counselor, Ella was my head counselor, others had various camp jobs. Trying now to find out the name of the academic woman in Chicago I think? who took over from her friend June Cummins (died from ALS) in writing Syd's autobiography. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also highly recommend 'new book' by Syd: All of a Kind Family Hanukah: written by Emily Jenkins and illustrated wonderfully by Paul Zelinsky. In book stores now - I think Syd would be pleased! Book is delightful!
