I too am from South Afria and also Royal Ballet School graduate met Phillis after she returned to SA. An extremely energetic warm hearted loveable person.She did great teaching the underpriviledged in the townships even risking her own personal life (Once she was robbed and stabbed) but she continued doing her job.In Canada my sister Carole Adriaans had Phyllis bestowed with an award for her outstanding abilities as a pioneer woman in her "Woman for Woman" anual show. Phyllis died 2 years ago far too early.
