Dr. Spielrein was a person destroyed by war and this fact I believe greatly affected the development of psychoanalysis and stagnated the field in general. Consequently, it was how she was murdered and not the Jung relationship that silenced her contribution. Also, think that we are only now coming to terms with just how that war affected not only the victims of the holocaust but the world in general and all fields of study.
