Thank you for this article. I am Else Samulon-Guttman's nephew. The article generally seems correct. However, there are two errors I know of. Else was the eldest of 6 children that grew up to be adults (not 5 as indicated in the first paragraph). The youngest of the six was my father. He had 5 older sisters, the oldest of which was Else. Therefore he was not "one of her brothers" as mentioned in the last paragraph. He was her only brother.
