Esther was my great-aunt (my grandmother’s youngest sister). She was so brilliant that all the siblings back in Poland worked so that she could attend college, according to my mother. I got to know her when she came to the States around 1960 or 61, right before she moved to Israel. I wish her books would be translated into English so that we, her American family, could read them!
