I am Seraphine Pisko's great nephew and knew the Eppstein family well. The sentence describing her family should read: "She was the eldest of seven, followed by her sisters Julia, Helen and Carrie, her brother Arthur, and twin sisters May and Lillian."

This is not quite accurate because the twins were born on May 1, 1876, and they were named for the day. The first-born was named "May" and the second one "Lily." "Lily," my grandmother, disliked the name and early on adopted the name "Lillian." This need not be mentioned in your article, because "Lillian" was the only name she used during much of her life.
