I studied opera for over 9 years in the Melbourne, FL area in the late 60's. I took lessons from a woman who said she was Roberta Peters' instructor at one time or another. I can't recall her name but I do remember I had to audition and be accepted for her to teach me. She was very good and made many references to Roberta Peters. I would love to find out if any of this was true and what would the instructor's name be.
