I am a musicologist interested in knowing if Marie Pappenheim, author of the libretto for Schoenberg's Erwartung, was a really a cousin to BP. I have seen references to this relationship, including that of a former student of Schoenberg, but can it be documented? I have a copy of the Dora Edinger book and it refers to a chart in at least two footnotes. However there was never a chart of any kind in my copy which I obtained personally from the office of Congregation Solel in Highland Park, Illinois many years ago. At the time I was interviewing Lou Graumann who knew the Pappenheim family. I would appreciate any help and information you have.
