Thank you for writing this. I was reading 2 Samuel and suddenly realized that David had many wives, and had not sent for Michel, and that her husband was grieving for her when David took her back. It rung very similar of his taking Bathsheba from her husband. So many teach this story as if Michel was just jealous and vindictive, but few want to admit to the lifestyle of David, which was very similar to Solomon in regards to women, and that I believe was sinful even then.
