How funny and weird it is to read people's comments. Most of the comments on this thread seem to take aim at the writer for ANY portion of the article that does not paint the prime minister in a positive light whether it is concerning her relation to feminism or motherhood. As an ex-Israeli and Jewish woman, I say- LIGHTEN UP JEWS !!!!! a person is a person- she was NOT a goddess, she was an ordinary flesh and blood person with ordinary human's failures. Golda herself mentions that she is uncertain that she was a good mother! She embodies both good qualities and bad ones and Israelis and jews need to learn humbleness instead of criticizing anyone who offers them a different view on their national hero & demonstrates to them both sides of her personality! Jews and especially Israelis use a lot of propaganda in their writing and it is often refreshing to hear serious Historians and others who do NOT adhere to particular propaganda. ENOUGH said !
