I find the last section troublesome: "An additional wonder: a virgin does not become pregnant from her first intercourse, while Lot’s daughters, who were virgins, did become pregnant from this initial act (Gen. Rabbah 51:9)." There are hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of women who were virgins and became pregnant after their first intercourse. So... I don't think that can be used as an explanation for Lot's daughters being innocent. They're just as bad as their father. Fortunately, the Holy one allows for good to still come from generations of sin. After all... even Mary the mother of Jesus was born in sin -- she was a regular human.
