My great grandmother, born in 1870, graduated from Hunter College in 1888, and I was told she was valedictorian of a small class. She later taught math and French there. I would like more information about this and any pictures. Her name was Juliette Hirsch or Juliet Hirsch, and she married Sumner Gutmann. My grandmother, Marion Louise Gutmann Adler (can't remember her second husband's last name right now) may have lent or donated pictures - I remember seeing a graduation photo.
