While the European spelling of Matzner is technically the correct, Sid & Ben (my great-grandparents) anglicized the spelling to Matsner. My grandfather, Richard, and my uncle both were given the middle name of Matsner. I believe the publishers were not consistent in the spelling, and as my family used/uses Matsner, I would appreciate it if you could update your entry accordingly. Furthermore, the publishers of my great-grandmothers frequently misspelled my mother's given name with a "Z" (when it should have a "S") when she was listed in the dedications of Sid's books, so I believe Matsner to be correct.
