Your best bet to find an out-of-print book is first to check your local library system, and then any nearby academic libraries. You can also search services such as amazon.com and addall.com for used copies. Keep checking periodically.

If a book is no longer in copyright, it =may= be available through Google Books, at least for reading, but that service is tied up in royalty disputes and offers spotty hope in this sort of case.
