Shalom! Congratulations for this beautifull research work. I enjoyed very much to see organized as history some of the fillings I experienced in Israel, in Kibbutz Eilon, where I learned some rikudei-am. Our teacher was himself learning with Yonatan Karmon. Learning and dancing rikudei-am certainly changed my life. It is disapointing to me to see that very few recent dances use the Hora, which for me is a symbol of tzionut, itiasdut, halutziut etc. Sixty years is a very short time for a country to "loose" or change its folkore. So letÌâå«s remember and dance again all the wonderfull, simple, highly energetic dances that represent the happiness of the triumph of the itiasdut and the birth of the Medina. Kol ha kavod Best wishes Clarisa
