Dorothy Dinnerstein is, perhaps, the most important philosopher for addressing the problems of our time. I teach her work in my educational foundations courses at SUNY New Paltz. She presents, among other things, a way forward to better, sexism-free understandings of human maturity (unfortunately gendered "masculine") and human immaturity (unfortunately gendered "feminine"); therefore I see her as indispensable for educational thought and practice. I'm always eager for conversation about her philosophy and its implications - please contact me if interested! bynumg@newpaltz.edu
