I also wanted to add something to what I had stated earlier. I met my husband shortly after I moved in to the residence. On the second floor they had "Beau Parlors". They were little partitions with curtains (that were opened of course), and that is where a young lady could be with her beau. I late husband Robert Danzig Klein proposed to me in the "Beau Parlor". The day that he was to give me my engagement ring, I was ill with a strep throat. The lady in charge, and I can not remember her name. It was long and germanic sounding. She escorted my fiance to be up stairs, and told him the door had to remain open, and that he could remain with me for a 1/2 hour. The date was February 2, 1956. I lived at the residence until the morning of my wedding which took place on May 27, 1956.
