Mrs. Bernhard was instrumental in saving my late father Kurt and his families (Dad Hugo, Mother Anna and sister Carole) lives in pre Nazi occupied Germany during 1938/39/40 and 41 ). I have just found this out 40 years after my fathers death in 1974 and have been putting pieces together for over two years. I have connected with her relatives in NY.
