About Basman Ben-Hayim: An article of mine on Basman Ben-Hayim and her poetry entitled "A Smile Learned in Sadness: The Poetry of Rivka Basman Ben-Hayim" can be found in "Yiddish After the Holocaust", J. Sherman, ed. (Boulevard Pres, 2004), pp. 266-285.
In 2006, she published 2 volumes of collected works, entitled "Le-koved Ikh un Du", with illustrations by her late husband, Mula Ben-Hayim, and an introduction by Alexander Shpiegelblatt. (Beit Leivik, Tel Aviv).
Nine more of her poems accompanied by my English translations can be found in "Trot Bay Trot, Contemporary Yiddish Poetry", Elissa Bemporad and Margherita Pascucci, eds. (Firenze, 2009), pp. 40-57.
