I worked at G Fox & Co during the Christmas shopping season for 6 years while in high school and college in the 50s. I fondly remember this frail but energentic woman (Beatrice) who on Christmas Eve would make the rounds of all 8 shopping floors in order to wish her staff Merry Christmas.
