Dear Mr. Shukla, I am working on a project at school along with the rest of my 7th grade class called Night of the Notables where we chose someone who has made a discovery affecting science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. We call it STEM. I chose Charlotte Auerbach as I am fascinated with her work with Drosophila and mustard gas. I just so happened to find this message you sent and your name in a biography I read about Lotte. So, I was wondering if there were any interesting facts about Charlotte you could share with me? Something about one of her breakthroughs during her work on leg Drosophila and/or mustard gas, or maybe any other larger pieces of work she did? I was also wondering what sort of tests and experiments you did with Charlotte at the time? I am looking forward to hearing back from you, and if I have gone to the wrong person, I am terribly sorry. If I turn out to be wrong, do you think you could point me in the right direction? Thanks! Sincerely, Shelby Hill
