I always loved the five All-of-a-Kind sisters and read the books over and over when I was a girl... and then I read them to each of my seven kids!  Wonderful stuff.  When writing one of my own novels, Bundle of Trouble, for American Girl, about Rebecca growing up in NYC in 1914, I kept picturing Ella, Henny, Sarah, CHarlotte and Gertie's apartment!
