At JWA we talk a lot about how history isnÌ¢âÂã¢t about the pastÌ¢âÂÛit informs everything we do in the present! This idea seems especially relevant to our sexual history. Our ideas about sexuality are ever changing, yet we know so little about their development. I was really struck by how little I knew while reading Straight--and I was a Gender Studies major!!
