I am not Jewish. At times I wish that I were, I respect and admire the Jewish people. I never gave thought to Bess being the first Jew to be honored with the Miss America Title. I am so glad for her standing against all odds of winning and in fact doing so. I just want to thank her for keeping her values high and not losing self respect for glory and fame. Your article reinforced my love and respect for the Jews although I don't think it needed reinforcement.
