How well do I remember that name Margolis. I was one of the Children that was waiting for her soups every day in Chaufong Heim in Hongkew. The Jewish Joint with the Help of Mr.Gordon and Miss Margolis helped find us relatives in Chile and paid for our journey from Shanghai to San Francisco ,than by train to Miama and than by plane to Santiago. I vividly remember the interview with my parents with Mr. Gordon and Miss Margolis....They were our saviors. The war ended in 1945 ,no country wanted poor sick Jews,so we remained in Shanghai till 1947 ,when the Jewish Joint found our relatives in Chile...Sincerely Gerhard Moses,Jerry
