Share Her Story This Purim

In the spirit of Queen Esther's story, this Purim JWA is partnering with the Jewish Multiracial Network and Repair the World to share stories of modern Jewish Women of Color, Indigenous, Mizrahi, and Sephardi women, whose efforts strengthen and broaden the Jewish community. (Learn more at werepair.org/Purim.)

We invite you to share your story as a Jewish Woman of Color, Indigenous, Mizrahi, or Sephardi woman, or invite someone you admire to #ShareHerStory this Purim.

Here are some questions to get you thinking as you write or record your story: In which space(s) or moment(s) do you feel your identities are most fully embraced? In which space(s) or moment(s) do you feel your identities are not fully embraced? How do you relate to the figure of Queen Esther, if at all? What does the holiday of Purim mean to you?
