Jewish Women on the Map - "Sky Landscape" by Louise Nevelson

Location

"Sky Landscape", an outdoor sculpture by Louise Nevelson located at 1101 Vermont Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. The sculpture was dedicated on March 10, 1988, and paid for and erected by the American Medical Association (which built the building in front of which the artwork stands).

Louise Nevelson, the only Jewish woman to be on a U.S. stamp, is in Jewish Women: A Comprehensive Historical Encyclopedia and her sculpture, "Shadows and Flags" located in the Louise Nevelson Plaza in NYC is also on the map.
