Jewish Women on the Map - Greater Miami area
Location
I'm aghast: you have no light bulb in Florida! I lived in Florida from 1967 through 1999, and was an active feminist, starting with my membership in the Nat'l. Org. for Women in Miami in May 1972 (still a dues-paying member). Also became a member and local officer of the Nat'l. Women's Political Caucus; Women in Communications, Inc.; the Jewish Women's Political Caucus; the Florida Feminist Credit Union. Believe me, there were lots of prominent Jewish women in Florida, including politicians, judges, academicians, and I knew many of them (still do!). As I assess your organization, which I only discovered last week, it is top-heavy with academicians, but lacks marketers and business communicators. If it weren't for my age (86), I'd offer my services. As it is, I retired from paid employment 11 years ago and have become a full-time family genealogist. Besides Janet SAINER and Lillian MOED (relatives by marriage), perhaps you list my cousin Dorothy DINNERSTEIN and other family luminaries.... Cordial feminist greetings, Henny
